Abstract

تهدف الدراسة إلى تحليل دور مقاييس الاستدامة البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة (ESG) في دعم تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، من خلال مقارنة تطبيقاتها في مصر ودول البريكس. وأظهرت النتائج أن التكامل بين الأبعاد البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمية يعزز الأداء التنموي وجاذبية الاستثمار، بينما تمثل الحوكمة التحدي الأكبر في مصر. وتوصي الدراسة بتعزيز الشفافية والإفصاح، وربط التمويل والاستثمار بمعايير ESG، وتحسين جودة البيانات والقدرات المؤسسية لتحقيق تنمية مستدامة وشاملة.

This study examines the role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a comparison of Egypt and BRICS countries. The findings show that balanced integration of environmental, social, and governance dimensions improves development performance and attracts sustainable investment, while governance remains a key challenge for Egypt. The study recommends strengthening transparency and disclosure, linking investment and finance to ESG standards, and improving institutional capacity and data quality to support sustainable and inclusive development.
