Abstract

أصبح إنتاج وتوزيع وإستخدام المعرفة في أي مجتمع بمثابة القاطرة الأساسية للنمو وخلق الثروة والإستخدام الأمثل للموارد والتجديد والتحديث . وهذا يعنى أن العوامل المساهمة في النمو في الاقتصاديات الجديدة قد أصبحت تتبلور ( بعيداً عن الجوانب المادية ) في مزيد من الإعتماد على قطاع المعلومات والاتصالات. فالشركات الناجحة اليوم وفى عصر المعرفة هي الشركات التي تربط نفسها بأفكارها بدرجة اكبر من ارتباطها بأصولها المادية. فلا يمكن أن تأتى ميزة تنافسية من عمل غير ماهر يمكن لأي فرد أن يؤديه أو من آلة متاحة للجميع على حد سواء

Production, distribution, and use of knowledge have become the principal drive to wealth creation, most efficient use of resources modernization, and growth. Egypt now believes that economic and social development can be enhanced if more importance was granted to developing ICT administratively and technically, with supporting laws and proper use. This study aims at highlighting the importance of building knowledge society and economy to face challenges of globalization. For that, development in ICT sector is considered with concentration on structure and administrative problems of its employment. Also, this study presents an analytical framework to determinants of the development of knowledge activities and industries in Egypt, and ways and means to enhance their competitiveness, in line with lessons from some international successful experiences and the importance and effect of ICT investment in promoting economic growth in Egypt.
