English for Specific Purposes as A Complementary Course for the Trainees in The Institute of National Planning

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop an English language program, based on trainees' needs, to be taught in the Institute of Planning in Egypt. This includes stating the desired objectives, selecting the content, suggesting a method of teaching and proposing tools for evaluation. For this to be achieved, trainees' needs will be assessed, and the existing course will be evaluated in the light of these needs.
