Abstract

This study focuses on introducing the linear programming (L.P.) technique to students with limited background in mathematics and statistics. It aims to familiarize readers with the fundamental concepts necessary for applying this technique to their problems without delving into complex mathematical proofs unless required. The chapter includes multiple examples and exercises to enhance understanding. The organization covers: definition of the linear programming problem, the transportation technique, the simplex technique, the dual model, and post-optimality analysis. The transportation technique addresses specific L.P. problems, while the simplex technique is more general. Post-optimality analysis explores the impact of parameter changes on the optimal solution

تركز هذه الدراسة على تقديم تقنية البرمجة الخطية للطلاب ذوي الخلفية المحدودة في الرياضيات والإحصاء. تهدف إلى تعريف القارئ بالمفاهيم الأساسية التي تمكنه من تطبيق هذه التقنية على مشاكله دون الخوض في البراهين الرياضية المعقدة إلا عند الضرورة. يشمل الفصل أمثلة وتمارين متعددة لتوضيح المفاهيم. تنظيم الفصل يتضمن: تعريف مشكلة البرمجة الخطية، تقنية النقل، تقنية السمبلكس، النموذج المزدوج، وتحليل ما بعد الأمثلية. يتم استخدام تقنية النقل لحل فئة خاصة من مشكلات البرمجة الخطية، بينما تعتبر تقنية السمبلكس أكثر شمولية. أما تحليل ما بعد الأمثلية فيتناول تأثير تغييرات المعلمات على الحل الأمثل.
