Problems of Determining the Role of Agriculture in the Development of National Economy and Society /مشكلات تحديد دور الزراعة في تنمية الاقتصاد الوطني والمجتمع

Abstract

This study clarifies the reasons of increasing theoretical and practical interest in analyzing the role of agriculture in economic development. Then, it outlines that there are some theoreticians who underestimate the role of agriculture in economic development, while others think that agriculture plays a great role in it. Then, the study shows the role of agriculture in developing countries. Thus, it mentions that the economy of a country must pass through three stages of development , if agriculture is to fulfill certain functions.

توضح هذه الدراسة أسباب تزايد الاهتمام النظري والعملي بتحليل دور الزراعة في التنمية الاقتصادية. ثم تبين أن هناك من المنظرين من يقلل من دور الزراعة في التنمية الاقتصادية، بينما يرى آخرون أن الزراعة تلعب دوراً كبيراً فيها. ثم توضح الدراسة دور الزراعة في الدول النامية. وهكذا، تذكر الدراسة أن اقتصاد أي دولة ما يجب أن يمر بثلاث مراحل من التنمية، إذا كان للزراعة أن تؤدي وظائف معينة.
