Network models and methods are used above all for flow and time planning of complex processes. In each case the pre- paration of decision is based upon certain problems of sequence. On principle always such processes or systems are concern- ed in which partial processes flow simultaneously or successively. That means on the one hand that a simultaneous flow of different partial processes (parallel flow) is given and on the other hand that partial processes may only begin, if proceeding ones are completed (flow in series).en_US
