Abstract

تتمثل الهدف الأساسي للتحليل القياسي في اختبار صحة النظريات الاقتصادية، ومن خلاله يتم إيجاد القواعد العملية التي يمكن من خلالها التنبؤ بالتغيرات المستقبلية في المتغيرات الاقتصادية. رغم أن التحليل القياسي يُعتبر جزءاً من المرحلة الثالثة من البحث الاقتصادي، فإنه يمتد ليؤثر في المراحل الأخرى أيضًا. يبدأ البحث الاقتصادي بتحديد المتغيرات التي ستُستخدم، وقد يواجه الباحث صعوبة في قياس بعض هذه المتغيرات. كما أن النظريات الاقتصادية قد تكون مجردة وتحتاج إلى ترجمة إلى معادلات رياضية مع الحفاظ على المنطق النظري. في بعض الحالات، قد تتطلب النتائج القياسية تعديل النظريات لتناسب الواقع العملي. لذا، لا يمكن اعتبار خطوات القياس مستقلة عن التحليل النظري، بل تتداخل العمليات بينهما وتساهم في تطور الفكر الاقتصادي.

The primary objective of econometric analysis is to test the validity of economic theories, and through this, establish practical rules to predict future changes in economic variables. Although econometric analysis is considered part of the third stage of economic research, it extends to influence other stages as well. Economic research begins with identifying the variables to be used, and researchers may face difficulties in measuring some of these variables. Additionally, economic theories may be abstract and need to be translated into mathematical equations while maintaining their theoretical logic. In some cases, econometric results may require modifications to the theories to better fit real-world conditions. Therefore, the steps of econometric measurement cannot be viewed as independent of theoretical analysis, but the processes are intertwined and contribute to the development of economic thought.
