The present study primarily aimed to measure the production efficiency in broiler poultry farms in, according to a sample of the field studysurveyin Qaliubiya governorate, and to identify the problems that face thepoultry industry in an attempt to reach some of the proposals and recommendations that contribute to the solution of these problems, and to ensure optimal use of production factors in the industry, where the research problem is that traditional farms represent a predominant proportion of fattening foreign chicken farms and local contriver chicken production farms. These farms are characterized by inefficient use of farm resources, and workecs in thece production do not have the adequate experiences in the use of these resources, and lack of technical information available to breeders for good housing and specifications suitable for poultry farms and productive performance represented in the efficiency of feeding systems and methods of rearing and breeding, which affects the productivity and economic efficiency of these farms. The fattening poultry farms, either traditional or specialized, faced many productive and marketing problems, which may affect the technical and economic performance of these farms, and low operating rates, and increase un-operating farms because of the existence of these problems, and injuring the poultry industry from birdflu, which has become endemic in Egypt, which requires the availability of bio-security procedure complete these farms.
