The paper offers several policy recommendations to mitigate these effects, including: redirecting public spending to support productive sectors like aquaculture, offering financial facilities for fishermen and fish farmers, supporting local feed manufacturing, introducing modern technologies to enhance farm efficiency, and expanding into nearby regional markets to boost exports and reduce shipping costs.
