This issue is closely linked to resource mobilization, which is crucial for capital formation and overall economic growth. Public enterprises play an essential role in raising and allocating resources, making them central to a country's development. For a developing nation to build a strong economic foundation and achieve rapid growth, public enterprises must be integral to its economic strategy. The state's contribution to development, and the balance between public and private sectors, depends on ideological beliefs and the specific social and economic conditions of the country.
