dc.description.abstractThe aim of this course is to introduce trainees to various organizational and administrative issues involved in economic development. The focus will be on the interrelationships between planning and administration, particularly public administration and national development. A comparative analysis of the experiences of some developing and developed countries will be attempted on the identified issues. The course will cover twelve topics, with its size and duration being flexible to meet the trainees' needs. The main reference book for this course is "A Handbook of Public Administration" published by the United Nations. Additionally, a list of readings available at the Institute of National Planning and the Institute of Public Administration in Cairo is included. تهدف هذه الدورة إلى تعريف المتدربين بالقضايا التنظيمية والإدارية المتعلقة بالتنمية الاقتصادية. سيتم التركيز على العلاقة بين التخطيط والإدارة، مع إيلاء اهتمام خاص للإدارة العامة والتنمية الوطنية. ستتم مقارنة تجارب بعض الدول النامية والمتقدمة في القضايا المحددة. تتكون الدورة من اثني عشر موضوعًا، وحجمها ومدة دراستها مرنة لتلبية احتياجات المتدربين. الكتاب المرجعي الرئيسي لهذه الدورة هو "دليل الإدارة العامة" الذي نشرته الأمم المتحدة. كما يتضمن البرنامج قائمة بالقراءات المتاحة في معهد التخطيط الوطني ومعهد الإدارة العامة في القاهرة.en_US

Institute of National Planning (INP) was established by Law No. 231 of 1960 as a think-tank public institution with an independent legal personality to enhance the theory and practice of planning in Egypt through: research, training and educational activities. Also, INP aims at providing technical support to Ministry of Planning, as well as to all national ministers and institutions, through spreading a culture of planning in Egyptian society.
