Abstract

تعتبر برامج التنمية الصناعية في المناطق النامية حديثة النشأة، وتستفيد هذه البرامج من الخبرات المتاحة في الاقتصاديات الحرة في أوروبا الغربية وأمريكا الشمالية، وكذلك من الاقتصاديات المخططة مركزياً في الاتحاد السوفيتي وأوروبا الشرقية. يختلف الأساس التاريخي لعملية التصنيع في البلدان النامية عن تلك في البلدان المتقدمة، مما يتطلب أخذ أوجه الاختلاف بعين الاعتبار عند استقراء النتائج. تهدف الأبحاث المقدمة في هذه الدورة إلى توضيح العناصر الأساسية في التنمية الصناعية وكيف يؤثر ضعف أو قوة هذه العناصر على الآمال المتعلقة بصناعات معينة. تشمل الأبحاث العوامل الخاصة بالتشغيل في البلدان النامية، مثل حجم المنشآت وكثافة اليد العاملة، بالإضافة إلى مشاكل التشغيل مثل صيانة المعدات والظروف المناخية.

Industrial development programs in developing regions are relatively new and draw on experiences from free economies in Western Europe and North America, as well as from centrally planned economies in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. The historical basis for industrialization in developing countries differs significantly from that in developed nations, necessitating consideration of these differences when extrapolating results. The research presented in this course aims to clarify the essential elements of industrial development and how the weakness or strength of these elements affects expectations for specific industries. The studies address factors related to operation in developing countries, including optimal plant size, labor intensity, and operational issues such as equipment maintenance and climatic conditions.
