Abstract

The following note presents a short review of the design of National Accounts that was adopted over the period from 1955 up to the end of 1960 at the national planning commission. In reading the following pages, the statements, should therefore, be taken to describe one historical stage of the effort undertaken, by the technical secretariat, in preparation for the construction of the first five year plan.
