Abstract

التربية والعمل رافدان من روافد التربية الشاملة، وأن العمل عماد التنمية الشاملة، ومصدر رئيسى للثروة، تعتمد إنتاجيته على مستوى كفايته وتنظيمه، وتقدير قيمة الزمن فيه. كما أن التربية فى الاسلام لم تعرف الفصل التعسفى بين العلم والعمل أو بين الدراسة والمهنة فقد دعا الإسلام الى تكاملية جديدة للشخصية الفردية عن طريق التربية العائدية . فتقدمت العلوم والفنون والآداب فى العالم الإسلامى الأول بتأثير روح الإسلام الداعية الى البحث والتجريب.

Education and work are two tributaries of comprehensive education. Work is the pillar of comprehensive development and a major source of wealth. Its productivity depends on its level of efficiency, organization, and appreciation of the value of time. Education in Islam did not recognize the arbitrary separation between knowledge and work or between study and profession. Islam called for a new integration of the individual personality through dependent education. Sciences, arts, and literature advanced in the early Islamic world under the influence of the spirit of Islam calling for research and experimentation.
