Abstract

لقد كان القطن المصري وحتى نهاية عقد الستينات تقريبا يحتل المركز الأول بين المحاصيل الزراعية فى الزراعة المصرية سواء من حيث كبر الوزن النسبي للمساحات المنزرعة به فى اجمالى المساحة الأرضية المنزرعة أو من حيث كونه بعد فى ذلك الوقت الحصول النقدى الوحيد بالنسبة للمزارع المصري.

Until the end of the sixties, Egyptian cotton occupied the first place among agricultural crops in Egyptian agriculture, whether in terms of the relative weight of the areas planted with it in the total area of ​​cultivated land, or in terms of it being, at that time, the only cash income for the Egyptian farmer.
