Abstract

شهدت السنوات العشر الأخيرة متغيرات عديدة قبل حلول الألفية الثالثة ، فخلال هذه الفترة الوجيزة قبل أن يأفل نجم القرن العشرين وصلت التجارة الدولية والإستثمارات العالمية الى اقصى نمو لها وإتسعت الفجوة بين دول الشمال والجنوب ، ونتج هذا النمو الاقتصادى ان اصبحت الاغلبية تعانى من الفقر بينما الأقلية تتمتع بثروات طائلة ، وشدت هذه التغيرات العديدة الإنتباه الى التحديات التى تواجه التنمية كالتدهور البيئى وإستنفاذ الموارد نتيجة للتنمية غير المستدامة والزيادة السكانية.
