Abstract

مما لا شك أن الصناعة ستكون أهم قاطرة للتنمية، بما لها من روابط قوية أمامية وخلفية، وذلك انطلاقا من الدور المنوط بها فى إعادة تنشيط النمو فى الاقتصاد المصري فى الأجلين المتوسط والطويل، مما يجعل الاهتمام بهذا القطاع يأتي فى مقدمة الأولويات التى تلعب دورا مهما فى توسيع القاعدة الإنتاجية وتنويع مصادر الدخل وبناء اقتصاد متوازن يعتمد على استخدام الموارد المحلية المادية والبشرية لإحداث نمو اقتصادي حقيقى، ويجعل من التنمية الصناعية مرتكزا أساسيا لتحقيق الأهداف التنموية.وتستهدف هذه الدراسة إلقاء الضوء على الدور التنموى للمناطق الصناعية فى تنمية المحافظات المصرية بعامة، وإقليم قناة السويس بخاصة، ودراسة نقاط القوة والضعف والفرص والتحديات التى تقف حجر عثرة أمام نجاح بعض المناطق الصناعية عن تحقيق أهدافها المرجوة منها، وذلك انطلاقا من الدور العام للمناطق الصناعية فى جذب الاستثمارات وتشغيل العمالة والوفاء بالاحتياجات المحلية والتصدير،وذلك فى إطارإستراتيجية شاملة للتنمية فى مصر،بما يكفل تحقيق معدلات نمو كافية لاستيعاب القادمين الجدد إلى قوة العمل وزيادة العائدات التى تحققها مصر من التكامل على الصعيدين الإقليمي والعالمى.

There is no doubt that industry is the major engine for development, due to its strong forward and backward linkages. Industry has a great role to play reactivating growth of the Egyptian economy in the medium and long run. Interest the industrial sector is one of the first priorities that play an important role in enlarging productive base and building a balanced economy that depends on utilizing material and human local resources in order to achieve real economic growth. The major objective of this study is to shed light on the development role of industrial areas in developing the Egyptian governorates in general, and the Suez Canal region in particular. Also, it studies the aspects of strength and weakness; opportunities and challenges that hinder the success of some industrial regions and achieving the targeted objectives. The industrial zones have a major role to play in attracting investments, creating job opportunities and providing local needs and exports. This can be achieved in the framework of a comprehensive strategy for development in Egypt, to achieve growth rates sufficient to absorb new entrants to the labor market and increase returns that can be achieved from integration at the regional and international levels.
