Abstract

Bent Hansen's study explores savings in the Kingdom of Egypt during the periods 1938/39 and 1945/46 to 1962/63. It examines methods for defining and measuring public and private savings, focusing on the relationship between public income and savings. The study estimates public revenues and savings levels while analyzing economic and social data over these periods. Results highlight the impact of governmental policies, economic changes, and global wars on savings rates. The study also provides insights into the roles of the government and private sector in promoting savings for economic development.

تناولت دراسة بنت هانسن موضوع الادخار في المملكة المصرية (مصر) خلال الفترات 1938/39 و1945/46 إلى 1962/63. استعرضت الدراسة الأساليب المستخدمة لتعريف وقياس الادخار العام والخاص، مع تسليط الضوء على العلاقة بين الدخل العام والادخار. ركزت الدراسة على تقدير الإيرادات العامة ومستوى الادخار، وتحليل البيانات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية خلال تلك الفترات. أظهرت النتائج تأثير السياسات الحكومية، التغيرات الاقتصادية، والحروب العالمية على معدلات الادخار. كما قدمت الدراسة رؤى حول دور الحكومة والقطاع الخاص في تعزيز الادخار لتحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية.
